Conformed to His Glorious Body – Philippians 3:21 (video)
What does it mean to be “conformed to his glorious body” (Phil. 3:21)? Using the context of the passage, this video shows that contrary to traditional teachings about bodily resurrection, the passage actually describes the corporate transformation of Israel from the Old Covenant ministry of death (body of Moses) into the New Covenant body of Christ, aka the Church. This resurrection began in Jesus’ day and was consummated at the second coming in AD 70, when the destruction of Jerusalem’s temple marked the end of the Old Covenant age.
